With a goal from Cristiano Ronaldo Real Madrid wins 6-2 over Villarreal in the mythical stadium Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid and Villarreal both demonstrated an ambitious match. However, Los Merengues had the offensive power that gave them the win in week 23 of the Spanish League. With todays victory Madrid is 2 points away from leader Barcelona.

Cristiano Ronaldo opened the match at minute 18 after a superb free Kick. Kaka then made the score 2-0 after brilliantly taking a penalty shot that trick Villarreal’s goalkeeper. Villarreal responded with a free kick at minute 30 that was well taken by Marcos Sena that ended in a goal.

Nonetheless, Madrid had the upper hand with an excellent performance that gave them the 6-2 over Villarreal. The match ended with a penalty kick created by crazy skills of superstar Cristiano Ronaldo that was then taken by midfielder Xabi Alonso.

With goals from Ramos, Kaka, and Higuain Real Madrid wins 3-0 over Espanyol in week 21 of the Spanish league. Madrid returned to the mythical stadium Santiago Beranabeu to play against Espanyol de Barcelona bitter rival of Barcelona. Sergio Ramos opened the score at minute 4 by beating the keeper with a header to the goal. Kaka then followed with another header to make the match 2-0 game. Gonzalo Higuain scored the last goal of the match at minute 4 to seal Madrid’s victory. With that los Merengues position themselves second to Barcelona with 50 points. Cristiano Ronaldo did not play due to the 2 game suspension he had to follow. We will hopefully see Cristiano in the next match.
