Madrid returned to the mythical stadium Santiago Beranabeu to play against Espanyol de Barcelona bitter rival of Barcelona. Sergio Ramos opened the score at minute 4 by beating the keeper with a header to the goal. Kaka then followed with another header to make the match 2-0 game. Gonzalo Higuain scored the last goal of the match at minute 4 to seal Madrid’s victory. With that los Merengues position themselves second to Barcelona with 50 points. Cristiano Ronaldo did not play due to the 2 game suspension he had to follow. We will hopefully see Cristiano in the next match.
